Business Development Director - UK and Europe, Renewable Energy
Salary: To be agreed
Location: West Midlands / UK and European travel
One of the foremost renewable power companies in the UK with extensive ongoing development is looking to appoint a Business Development Director to focus on increasing business both within the UK and across Europe.
With industry leading trademark technologies, the company sees the opportunity for extensive global development with the right person in place to represent them.
Responsibilities to include:
v Liaising with relevant Government departments on policy development
v Managing existing client accounts and sourcing new routes to market throughout the UK and Europe
v Identify, develop and manage innovative supply chain relationships
Essential skills and experience:
v A thorough understanding of the current renewable energies market, including upcoming ideas and technologies
v In depth knowledge of current policy and EU legislation surrounding renewable energy
v Extensive business development experience on an international scale
v Track record/experience in starting, developing and managing renewable business projects
v Experience in investment raising for new technologies would be an advantage
v Second European language would be an advantage
v Ability to travel is essential
