Spill Reponse Training Manager


Salary: £40-45,000 plus benefits
Location: Southampton
***Ideal candidate will have experience in either an environmental or marine services consultancy, particularly those that offer a variety of emergency response and environmental or marine consultancy services***

This company offers training to the spill response industry, both internal and external clients. The purpose of the job is to manage the trainers and consultants in order to deliver projects that meet expectations of quality, quantity, time and cost, providing a global lead in the industry.
Develop new and existing services to ensure that the company remains a world leader in the provision of training and consultancy services.
Main accountabilities:
· Take on responsibility for ensuring all projects are delivered to the clients’ requirements whilst upholding the outstanding reputation of the company.
· Develop new opportunities for the consultancy through networking and keeping abreast of competitor information within the industry.
· Manage the office effectively on a day-to-day basis.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of spill response best practise and have experience at management level within the industry. You will either have a consultancy or field spill response background and be able to provide training from a personal point of view.
You will hold either an ILM certificate (or equivalent managerial qualification) or experience as a planning or response manager.
