Ecology Consultant - Senior
Salary: £25-40,000 negotiable

A multi disciplinary environmental and ecology consultancy based in the South West and providing exceptional service throughout the UK has a requirement for an experienced Ecology Consultant to be involved in projects both existing and new. The company’s philosophy is built on providing a high quality service to valued clients, so if you are able to bring long-standing relationships with you this will be a benefit.
Working at a Senior to Principal level within consultancy already, you will be a skilled field surveyor (Phase 1, botanical skills, ecological management) and ideally hold protected species licenses such as bats, reptiles, dormice or others. (This is an advantage but not essential).
You will be responsible for managing projects to ensure they come in on budget, plus managing subcontractors.
Report writing skills are essential (examples should be provided at interview).
The company also offers environmental consultancy so experience in writing Ecological Impact Assessments and Appropriate Assessments would be an advantage.
