Photovoltaic (PV) Project Manager

Location: London
This solar energy company designs and supplies solar systems for domestic and commercial buildings, with an overall aim of reducing carbon emissions and fighting climate change. They are passionate about clean and renewable energy, and improving the world we live in.
The role will involve managing delivery of 10-15 PV installation projects mainly in the UK with some European projects included. Budgets typically range from £30k to £1.5m so previous experience in managing similar budgets is essential. Projects involve electrical, roofing and plumbing work so a strong understanding of these areas, along with in depth technical knowledge of solar PV and solar thermal systems is essential.
Education, skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing construction, M&E or rail projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
In depth understanding of current UK Health and Safety legislation, particularly with regard to construction projects.
Software used: Navision and Slogix (CRM )
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
**Passion for the environment and sustainability in buildings
**A technical construction background, particularly with sustainable buidings
**Experience within building services or electrical engineering
**Project management experience in the range detailed above
**The ability to deal with suppliers, customers and internal teams so excellent communication skills at all levels.
