PLanning and Development Consultant
Salary: £25-40,000 plus benefits
Location: North Yorkshire
A commercial and residential property management business is expanding its renewable energy services. The specialist Energy Team supports the development of renewable energy projects (particularly in wind, waste to energy and solar power), and acts for a range of clients including property owners, landowners, companies and developers. This is an excellent career opportunity for a candidate with experience in environmental planning.
Candidates will have the ability to communicate with Clients at all levels and progress renewable energy development opportunities where planning and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) are required. You should also be able to demonstrate the ability to drive and proactively manage complex and innovative projects from concept to delivery.
In addition to your planning ability within the renewable energy sector, you will have a demonstrable record of developing business opportunities throughout the property market. You will be targeting both existing and new private sector clients in order to generate new opportunities for the planning team.
The ideal candidate will either have or be working towards their MRTPI. Experience within environmental planning is essential and you must be an enthusiastic team player who is commercially aware with the drive and determination to succeed.
