· Carrying out Feasibility Studies for prospective sites and liaising with site-owners
· Working with the team on the preparation of waste licences, planning applications and other licensing requirements
· Establish a proven supply chain for all aspects of the planning and permitting process
· Manage all relevant sector specialists to facilitate fast track planning/permitting
· Liaising with internal and external resource teams including legal, finance, project management etc.
· Dealing with local authorities for sites throughout the UK
· Building good relationships with appropriate regulatory bodies
· Managing stakeholder engagement issues
· Attending/support BD activities
· Working with project teams to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation
· Assessing technologies and their applications for the UK market
The ideal candidate for this role will come from a consultancy or waste / energy management background, with in depth experience in planning for new waste technologies. You will be working on development proposals and planning applications for new sites, liaising with local authorities throughout the UK.
This is a permanent opportunity, offering the chance to join one of the UK’s most forward thinking organisations and be part of a highly successful venture.
