Regional Sales Manager (South East)
Salary: £30-40,000 negotiable plus benefits
Location: London and South East
This solar power installations and development company is growing rapidly and now seeking an experienced regional sales manager to take them to the next level.
We are looking for an outstanding candidate to drive commercial sales strategy and business development across the company as well as being responsible for commercial sales in the South East of England. The flexibility that comes with this role means that the right candidate can work from home or our regional offices. The successful candidate will report to the company directors with the role offering a great potential for career development within a growing company.
Job Description
• Develop company sales strategy
• Identify and develop new initiatives and business sectors
• Oversee all contractual agreements from Pre tender qualifications (PTQ) to completion working with regional branch managers and sales staff
• Provide market and sales forecasts for business planning purposes
• Generate sales leads through active marketing including identification of potential new business opportunities, and undertaking client visits
• Assess client requirements and budgets; providing accurate quotations and follow-up to close on sales
• Play a creative role in the development of products, services and literature offered by the company
• Liaise with Branch Managers to assist with project delivery
• Maintain relationships with key clients and deliver sales for the company
EXPERIENCE
• Strong experience of sales in a construction, installation or service related business, particularly within solar power.
• A proven track record in sales to commercial clients
• Experience of building relationships with clients including Housing Associations, Local Authorities, architects, consultants, Commercial Property Landlords, building developers and contractors
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• A commercial approach to business and an ability to quickly gain an in-depth understanding of a company and its operational and sales procedures.
• A proven demonstration of strong selling skills, previous field sales or direct selling experience
• People management skills including motivation, performance management, setting and measuring sales targets
• Excellent IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
• Degree level qualification 2.2 or above
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
