Roofer - Solar Power Installations
Salary: £18-22,000 plus benefits
Location: Herefordshire
A successful solar power installations company is expanding their team. Their main business is the installation of solar thermal and solar electric systems for domestic, public sector and commercial clients
We are looking for a positive and motivated individual with proven construction industry experience.
Job Description
• Participate in the installation of solar hot water and PV systems with a team. Your role will centre around fixing panels to the roof and pipe/cable runs
• Liaise with a range of clients during project delivery.
• Assist with procurement and waste disposal.
• Actively look for ways to assist colleagues
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Practical experience of roofing/plumbing/electrical and building works (Minimum 2 years on site experience).
• NVQ level 2 qualification, Working at Heights training and CSCS card
• Good communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in a team.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage your own time effectively.
• Knowledge of solar thermal and electric systems
CHARACTER
• Proven ability to work as part of a team
• Proven track record in customer care
• Proactive attitude to problem solving
• Self-confident
• Clear headed under pressure
OTHER
• Able to work a range of hours with occasional overnight stays
• Enthusiasm for renewable energies
• Full clean driving licence.
