Due to ongoing success, this energy management company is looking to increase headcount in the Carbon Reduction Commitment team.

The main objective of the role is the management and development of key customer accounts, and as such you will be expected to proactively develop and manage processes, as well as working to challenging financial targets. In the course of your duties you will be expected to develop close working relationships with key clients, with a focus on developing both new and existing business streams.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Work closely with clients to manage and develop specific customer accounts and customer relationships
 Responsibility for performance of individual accounts
 Develop new and existing business opportunities as appropriate
 Setting and attaining local budgets and targets
 Attending staff and client meetings as necessary
 Maintain an awareness of developments within the energy and utilities marketplace
 Provision of reports and statistical data as required
 Proactive development of departmental processes, recommending and implementing appropriate improvements as necessary

KEY SKILLS:

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas confidently and coherently at all levels
 Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers
 High level of financial awareness and business acumen
 Tenacity and enthusiasm to develop new and existing business opportunities
 Ability to prioritise and organise demanding workloads to meet tight deadlines
 Excellent IT skills
 Ability to manage, manipulate and report on high volumes of data
 Able to show an innovative and proactive approach to problem solving
 An awareness of the energy services industry is desirable
 A full driving licence is desirable
 Qualification to a minimum of A Level standard or equivalent in a relevant subject is desirable

Benefits include a contributory pension scheme, company life assurance, and 20 – 25 days holiday (in addition to bank holidays) per annum. Standard hours of work are 37.5 per week, 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Office facilities include free onsite parking and free refreshments for all staff.
