Due to ongoing growth, this energy management company is looking to employ a specialist Compliance Manager to maximise their clients’ involvement and revenue with the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC).

The position will involve liaising with existing key client accounts (face to face and over the telephone); providing information relating to the CRC and its benefits; obtaining data and statistical information from the client in order to analyze how they can increase their revenue; analyzing data to calculate the clients’ carbon footprint; and ensuring the client benefits from an improved energy management strategy.

This is NOT a sales role; we are looking for somebody with an analytical mind and the ability to glean extra information from clients where necessary to fulfill your duties. Communications skills are essential, as you will be meeting with major clients on a regular basis. Also important are excellent IT skills, for instance an advanced level of Excel (able to produce pivot tables and look ups etc) plus previous data analysis or statistical analysis experience.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

§ Work closely with clients to manage and develop specific customer accounts and customer relationships
§ Responsibility for performance of individual accounts
§ Develop new and existing business opportunities as appropriate
§ Setting and attaining local budgets and targets
§ Attending staff and client meetings as necessary
§ Maintain an awareness of developments within the energy and utilities marketplace
§ Provision of reports and statistical data as required
§ Proactive development of departmental processes, recommending and implementing appropriate improvements as necessary

KEY SKILLS:

§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas confidently and coherently at all levels
§ Advanced user of Excel (testing will be done prior to interview)
§ Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers
§ High level of financial awareness and business acumen
§ Tenacity and enthusiasm to develop new and existing business opportunities
§ Ability to prioritise and organise demanding workloads to meet tight deadlines
§ Excellent IT skills
§ Ability to manage, manipulate and report on high volumes of data
§ Able to show an innovative and proactive approach to problem solving
§ An awareness of the energy services industry is desirable
§ A full driving licence is desirable
§ Qualification to a minimum of A Level standard or equivalent in a relevant subject is desirable

Benefits include a contributory pension scheme, company life assurance, and 20 – 25 days holiday (in addition to bank holidays) per annum. Standard hours of work are 37.5 per week, 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Office facilities include free onsite parking and free refreshments for all staff.
