A successful solar power installations company is expanding their team. Their main business is the installation of solar thermal and solar electric systems for domestic, public sector and commercial clients
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual with proven construction industry experience along with qualifications in electrical installation.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Manage multiple projects from sale through to installation
• Ensure projects are installed in a timely and cost effective manner to a high standard.
• Be the primary point of contact for clients
• Provide technical input into electrical design
• Visit commercial clients, providing technical information to enable a sale
• Provide leadership to the install team to ensure a successful install.
• Provide support to sales managers to help convert sales.
• Ensure full Health and Safety compliance on your projects.
• Ensure all electrical work undertaken by the branch is safe and complies with regulations.
EXPERIENCE
• Strong practical experience of electrical works in commercial sites and domestic properties.
• Experience of managing several projects (5-10) at one time.
Experience of providing technical input to sales process / working with sales teams from a technical point of view.
• NICEIC or similar registration
• Experience of solar electric systems
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• City and Guilds 2381 and 2391 or similar electrical qualifications
• Excellent IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
• City and Guilds 2372 PV Training
• Project management training
• Training in working at heights
• Training in the supervision of site health and safety
• Qualifications in 1st Aid

• Proven ability to work as part of a team
• Proven track record in customer care
• Proactive attitude to problem solving
• Self-confident
• Clear headed under pressure
OTHER
• Able to work a range of hours with occasional overnight stays
• Full driving license
• Enthusiasm for renewable energies
