This marketing and communications agency is looking to take on a sales account manager for their dedicated Environmental and Waste campaigning division. Based in Essex, you will investigate new opportunities with Local Authorities and waste industry bodies and manage campaigning projects from inception through to delivery.
Duties will be diverse, including checking art proofs, producing business proposals and tender documents for Local Authority work, as well as planning and managing exhibition attendance for the company. This is on top of your daily duties of identifying and bringing in new business, so the role will entail quite a high proportion of UK wide travel including overnight stays on occasion.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities
· Produce high quality proposals to win new business
· PR, exhibitions and promotional work to highlight the company brand
· Manage marketing processes, including artwork, designs, and working with suppliers
· Manage accounts for various campaigns running concurrently throughout the UK
Skills and experience:
· Marketing background essential; i.e. knowledge of creative processes, online and print advertising etc
· In depth understand of local authority recycling strategies throughout the UK
· Sales background
· Experience in tendering for local authority work
· Full clean driving license is essential
· Membership of CIWM or other waste / environmental industry body would be highly advantageous
