.Key responsibilities will include
Specification,development and validation of sub systems
· Assisting in identifying detailed requirements for functional blocks in a receiver
· Designing hardware and software structures
· Developing proprietary techniques where appropriate for efficient implementation
· Working as part of a small group of engineers in the development and validation of a sub-system
Required Skills
· Basic understanding of communication systems and appropriate processing techniques for equalisation, demodulation and error correction
· Able to grasp new concepts and apply them to solving problems
Desirable Skills
· Coding skills in C and assembler
· Coding skills in Matlab
· Understanding of hardware architectures
Operating System
· Windows XP, Windows Vista & Windows 7
Personal Attributes
Min 2 years+experience in a similar role. Candidates with greater experience will be rewarded commensurate with experience/skills
You must be highly motivated and ambitious
Qualifications
Good honours degree, masters- Electronics or Electrical engineering.
