A leading utilities company in the South Wales region, which is growing at a fantastic rate, is looking to appoint an experienced Sustainability and Renewable Energy Manager for a brand new division they are starting. The division will specialise in offering consultancy services to their existing client base including:
· Low Carbon initiatives
· Renewable Energy (including Solar PV, CHP, Ground Source Heat Pumps etc
· Sustainable Development
The consultancy will offer feasibility studies, design, procurement and delivery of renewable energy systems as well as offering clients advice on reducing their carbon footprint and understanding the government’s Feed in Tariff.
Responsibilities:
· Provide consultancy service to public and private sector clients on sustainable development, low carbon and renewable energy issues
· Actively develop business for the division from existing clients and new prospects; meeting and presenting information
· Feasibility studies for low carbon energy systems
· Project management, ensuring delivery on time and to budget
· Maintaining and developing ISO 9001-2000
Skills:
· Degree in Sustainability, Renewable Energy or related field
· Preferably Chartered status, or working towards it
· Strong experience in consultancy for renewable energy or low carbon initiatives
· Team Leading and / or Project Management experience
· Proposal / Tender writing
